Jesse: http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2009/09/spider-silk/
Jen H: Cool.
Jen H: Those spiders are pretty intense looking.
Jesse: It took 4 years and a million spiders in milking machines to do it
Jesse: To make a 11x4 foot cloth
Jen H: Yeah. Quite the project.
Jesse: I want it
Jesse: I want to TOUCH it
Jen H: lol
Jen H: Yeah.
Jen H: It's very pretty. Nice colour.
Jen H: Plus... come on... the novelty of having that? haha
Jesse: Yup yup
Jesse: And ridiculously durable
Jesse: Once they figure out how to mass produce that stuff
Jesse: Throw all your nicest clothes in the washer. It's okay.
Jesse: They're stronger than STEEL.
Jen H: I'll have to get a dress made out of it.
Jesse: "I'm wearing my spider dress tonight"
Jen H: haha. Yes.
Jen H: I so want a spider dress...

A little dangerous if you get caught up in something (machine, accident etc) and it's stronger than steel O.O!

Bryn

I had a similar thought this afternoon when I heard about it; once they can mass produce this stuff, it's going to be everywhere.
