The other day, former Vice Presidential candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin gave her farewell/resignation speech. It was a rather unwieldy and rambling affair witch swung back and forth between partisan politics, Alaska's natural beauty, and criticizing the media for their unfair treatment of her.

So Conan O'Brien decided that the speech was, in fact, a great piece of postmodern poetry, and enlisted William Shatner to recite it as such. The results, naturally, are hilarious. Credit to Iain for digging this up:
