I've been delaying this post because of illness, being very busy at work, laziness, fear, etcetera... the usual.

But the fact remains: I am THIRTY. I have entered a new DECADE of existence which most of my friends/readers have not.

What does this mean? Well, absolutely nothing, really. Life is a journey: it is a cliché that has been worn out more almost as much as that box we're supposed to think our way out of. Still, it holds true. It also holds true that the individual portions of our lives are also sub-journeys of a sort.

There's childhood of course. And adulthood. But there is also that in-betweeny stage often known broadly as "YOUTH". That is, the point where your body has matured to adulthood but your mind is not quite there yet. So to be honest, most of us turned thirty a while ago. We became adults with husbands/wives, with kids, with careers and/or serious career aspirations.

Thirty really is just a number. Your youth only ends when you decide its time.
