« Bra Bat... Bat Bra? | Green Waste » 07-11-08 After announcing their (mostly) successful missile tests the other day, the Iranian state media released an impressive picture to the western media that made the front page of several major newspapers. The problem? PHOTOSHOP. It became clear that the image was the result of a hackneyed chop-job to add an extra missile, embarrassing not only Iran but the western media outlets that couldn't be bothered to inspect an image for a few minutes before plastering it on their front pages. The readers of boingboing have taken it upon themselves to "improve" Iran's bad Photoshop job. I'm especially fond of the LOLcat and Neo bullet-time versions. Seeing Wile E. in action was nice too. The job is taken to its logical conclusion with more cowbell. I added my own contribution referencing some classic Photoshop lore.
