It's okay, really. Sometimes I just need to express myself. Now for some random thoughts!

- I have a new blender. This one. With beverage dispenser. Yay fancy.

- Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobiacs is the term for people who fear the number 666.

- Winter in Vancouver is depressing. The sun is low in the sky. It's dark when I get up AND when I come home. There's no snow, only cold rain. Depressing.

- It feels good to be off the WarCrack again. But now I'm hooked on the Zelda. How could one not be?

- Yay astronomy!

- I have no idea how to cook a rutabaga.

- Spew. Narf. Poit. Helloooooo nurse.

That is all.

Quite the shots. The one of Saturn seems so amazing I keep thinking it must be fake.

Roast it with some other cubed veggies. Oven, 350 degrees. Some olive oil and thyme. About 45 minutes.

Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobiacs

You either swallowed a dictionary or are watching obscure British quiz shows. Which one is it? ;)

Angela: The Saturn one is most inexplicable to me as well. If the sun is backlighting the planet, then what is the light source for the side we're viewing?

Sus: Slashdot.

Well, according to the Natural Geographic for this month that I found in my bathroom, it's from 126 natural colour photographs. And they are very, very detailed. A couple really neat close-ups.
They claim that ringshine is illuminating the southern hemisphere.
There's also some stuff about the Huygens probe landing on Titan.

Hey, you can seam rutabega, but it doesn't taste very good.

Regarding Saturn, it's supposed to be a compilation of images isn't it? Also, does Saturn give off light of it's own accord, like Jupiter does?

On the rutabaga, I boiled chunks of it with some potatoes and a bit of squash, then mashed it with some rosemary, thyme, and butter. Yum yum yum.

Also, you might try poking around some HomeDepot/CanadianTire-esque store and buying the highest wattage daylight/sunlight bulb you can find.

Not that I'm suggesting that SAD is the issue, but I difinately feel better on those rare sunny winter days. Boohoo to three months of rain!

I've always found it funny that the acronym is "SAD".

Have you seen astronomy guys Bretagne pictures? It's enough to inspire you to take more pictures or go on a trip.
