If we could wean ourselves off oil and into more eco-friendly sources of energy a whole lot of problems could be resolved. That's the direction we should be heading for. It's the hand in the pocket economic thinking of special interests tied to the republicans that need to be tamed but will the democrats be savy enough to change directions?
