There's really no weekend quite as unsatisfying as the one you truly needed to unwind, only to have it robbed from you by an unpleasant cold. Got some socialization in last night, but my plans to go see the Dixons tonight were stolen from me. Angela's off babysitting the Brownies at camp this weekend. Just sitting here with the internet, especially Deviantart, as my companion. Being kept alive by a steady stream of kleenexes, drugs, soup, rest, and an awesome tea by Tazo called Passion. It sustains me.

Nadia is back in town, which has me cheerful. In Montreal, we talked up a storm. We also bickered a fair bit; petty arguments about political and philosophical issues far beyond our scale as human beings. Arguments about the way we argued. But none of it matters, because at the end of the day that's just how we are. I can only be thankful to experience such deep friendship as ours as I blip briefly in and out of the mortal coil. Welcome home, my friend. Welcome home.

I am in agreeance with Tanya. Next time you make iced tea use the Passion tea, and just a little bit of sugar. mmmmm.

"Petty arguments about political and philosophical issues far beyond our scale as human beings". I think that as long as we don't agree on something, we can't really call it "petty" in good conscience.
