Watch this. Watch it right this very moment.

UPDATE: For no reason whatsoever, here's some movies I might like to see...

The Proposition: Growing up with my dad endeared me somewhat to the "blood and guts western" (as he would call it). I've seen The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly quite a number of times since I was a kid. So I'm intrigued by The Proposition, which is a western which takes places in colonial Australia: a very similar environment to the American frontier west. My friends will also be interested to know that the score and screenplay for this film were both written by Nick Cave.

Ratatouille: Fresh out of the gate as an acquisition of Disney, Pixar has given us a glimpse of another project on the way for next summer. I can only hope that their quality of entertainment will continue and that Disney will take the laissez-faire approach with Pixar material. I also have to check out Cars, which will probably give me a good idea as to whether or not I'll continued to be interested in Pixar projects.

Lady in the Water: I'm an official fan of M. Night Shamayalan. Though I was generally disappointed with The Village, I consistently enjoy his other movies; they're really the only type of "scary movies" that I don't find to be cheap and trite. I look forward to this one.

Who Killed the Electric Car: This should be a real eye-opener. The politics of fossil fuels continue to baffle me. I'll also be checking out Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth and crossing my fingers that he'll make a run for President instead of some waffling Democratic wiener.

Oh so cute. It's hard to think this is the same guy I met at Sears a few years ago. That playful quality was not evident then.

Al Gore says he's not interested in running anymore but who knows...

Danielle has seen The Proposition a couple times now I think. Who knows, she may be up for seeing it yet again! It was (is?) playing at Tinseltown.
