This blog is going to earn me a reputation as an Apple pundit.

There's been a lot of talk about the future of Pixar and Disney lately. Here's my take on the situation.

things that make you go hmmm... seems like a viable option, but who would distribute Pixars flicks? would Apple try to do that themselves ya think? guess it wouldn't be to hard to find a willing partner if not since Pixar movies might as well be licences to print $$$

my two cents have been given, carry on.

Indeed, Apple already sells Pixar's short films in the iTunes video store. Of course, distributing small videos over the internet is one thing, marketing and distributing a theatre-released, full-length film is quite another. Perhaps not a job for Apple, but hardly a problem. If Pixar came to your company and said "We want you to distribute our flicks," I doubt you'd tell them to shove off.

Jesse you're a god damned mind-reader or something!
this morning(5 minutes ago) I'm flipping channels and the MSNBC business report has 4 anaylsts, well 3+ segment host, debating the Pixar/disney thing when one of them brings up the possibility of Steve Jobs yoinking Pixar for himself like you proposed. thought you'd get some sort of kick from that
